Jesus told his disciples it was harvest time, for by this he meant to go out and reach the lost and show them the way to him, to be saved.

Today Jesus is speaking to us the church, to reach the lost, it could be by just saying a kind word to a lost soul. That one word can touch their heart and in turn they turn to Christ and a new life, to be completely change.
Even doing a kind deed to the unsave will cause them to ask: what is this and why did you do it. It opens the door to reach them and help them to see Jesus in us. It gives us the opportunity to share Jesus and show them his love through us.
As the light of Christ shine through  us may it shine brightly upon their path and draw them to Christ.
Jesus saves.
He his the light of the world.
