Prepare the Way

Many times throughout our lives we have visitors come to our house for a meal, or possibly to stay for a few days.The time leading up to that visit is usually filled with preperation for your expected guest.Like most people we want to make our guests feel special and welcomed.John the baptist knew that God himself was coming to visit and knew that the only preperation needed was a repentant heart.He preached that message with passion to all who would hear him.We as believers should also be preparing the way of the Lord, because the King of Kings is coming soon.Salvation for those we know should be our passion. How shall they hear unless we preach his gospel.
